Sights and Attractions of Mulu World Heritage Area
Mulu National Park is probably the most famous national park in Sarawak. Gunung Mulu National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Major attraction include the Mulu caves, with its famous Sarawak Chamber, Benarat Cavern, Wind Cave and the Clearwater Cave as well as the Pinnacles. The national park is famous for its biodiversity and is home to over 1,500 different types of flowers and an exceptional large variety of wildlife, including macaques, bearded pigs, moon rats, different types of bats, and hornbills. Many different types of ferns, mosses and flowering plants are indigenous.

Luxory hotel accommodation is available at the hotel resort. The park offers accommodation of different standards with the park HQ. During the high season accommodation may be fully booked.
Food and Drink
Restaurants are available at the resort as well as the is a cafe at the park HQ. Tour operators may provide food at lunch time during any Mulu extoursions and tours.

The park offers opportunities for adventure caving. Some tour operators may offer caving holidays.
Getting to Mulu National Park
Mulu can be reached by small aircraft from Miri. However flights may be fully booked during key holiday periods. Fares are usually attractive. Cancellation and delays of flights are not unheard of.
Weather
Best time to travel to Mulu is usually during the dry season.
