are many options on how to book your Borneo holidays and Borneo
travel. You can either book your entire trip from abroad with an
outbound tour operator, or book just your Sabah, Sarawak Borneo
flight and arrange your tours
with a local travel agent or tour operator, either from home
or in Borneo, or go entirely independently. A lot will depend on
the available travel budget and how much time you want to spend
upon arrival. Independent travel can be very interesting but is in many cases more time consuming. The biggest problem will be finding the right transport in a reasonably short amount of time. For some destinations in Borneo you may have to rely entirely on a tour operator's or a hotel resort's transport facilities. Wildlife tours in Borneo are particularly subject to season and time of day. As an example, you may only see turtles at particular times of the year.
